Struts/Springs Install Help, Upstate NY

Hey guys, just curious if anyone knows of somewhere that would install my struts and springs that i bought. Most of the big shops i've talked to want to charge me a ridiculous amount.. just want it done and not to be broke  May try to do it myself, but i'm reluctant since the car has always been in Upstate NY and most of the bolts are extremely rusted. thanks!

As long as you have pb blaster and a breaker bar it's not hard just time consuming. I used the tire iron to break most of the bolts. One trick I used was to try and get the tire iron paraell with the ground and use another jack to push it up to bust it loose.

My car is in rochester and it wasn't that bad.

I was just up in Horseheads at WGI last weekend for the NASA event!

Anyway it's not a terrible install but the rears sometimes need a breaker bar that you need to put in a spot that's hard to do on jack stands. If you have access to a lift that would help.

which ones did you get?

Haven't ordered yet, but thinking about Kyb excel G set of struts with H&R springs. I just want to make sure I can get someone to help me do them or a shop that won't take all my money to do them. And watkins is always a good time! Haha where'd you stay in horseheads?

The H&R will be too low for the KYB struts. You'll blow them out in short order. You'll want Konis or Bilsteins to go with the H&Rs. For the KYBs I would suggest the Epics.

We could do the install but it's a bit of a hike for you!
