My day at The Man Cave [lot o' pictures]

So I'm going to be working down at The Man Cave in Golden (http://mancavedetail.com/) learning to detail. And it's a ton of fun because all the cars there are really nice! I was down there for about 3 hours today and cleaned up 5 of the cars they are storing with Quick Detail Spray. Here are some pictures of a few of the cars down at the Man Cave currently (sorry for the small pictures, my camera settings on my phone got messed up and I didn't notice it until afterwards. I'll get better pictures next time I'm down there later this week)

55 Bel Air converted into a drag car putting out 1150hp or so. Only been raced twice because it scared the owner so much (he owns most the cars they are storing currently). Also one of the cars I cleaned up today:

Bad picture, but the engine bay of a 52 (I believe) Bel Air owned by the same guy. Also a car I cleaned:

Poster about one of the Bel Airs:

The two Corvettes I cleaned up:

Camaro I cleaned up. Also owned by the guy who owns those Bel Airs. Not 100% sure on what models those other two cars are, but are also owned by the same guy:

Another pic of one of the cars on the lift:

458 Italia and an S500. 458 still has the temp tag from Ferrari of Denver on it. From what I've gathered, the guy pretty much bought the car and took it to the Man Cave soon after. It's been sitting there since pretty much.

Bad pic, but an S63 AMG:

No idea what model Ford this is, but damn is it pretty:

A Ford Torino perhaps? Not 100% sure:

Again, sorry for the crappy pictures for now. Only had my phone and the settings weren't what they should have been on the camera... I'll be back tomorrow or Thursday to get better pictures of those cars and pictures of some of the others. Some other cars in there include a (Series 2?) Jaguar E Type, a nice FD RX-7, some other classic muscle cars, I believe one more Corvette, another classic (20s-30s) Ford if I'm not mistaken, and some other nice cars. Bring your Legacy on down for a nice detailing while you're at it!

From what I recall, the guy who owns those Bel Airs and the Corvettes and such (actually, I think basically every car in there that's a muscle car is his) owns 50 cars, is building a new facility to store them at, and had the contract for all the drywall at DIA which is part of how he can afford all these cars.

Not going to be going down today, but I'll be heading back tomorrow. In the mean time, I do have a couple pictures I can post from the business owner's facebook page of some of the other rides they've had down there.

A nice Caddy that came through before I started working there:

The E Type that I referred to:

And one seriously nice truck:

Edit: And one more. I'm continually surprised at some of the cars out here in Colorado.

Owner said 20 hours was put into detailing this 1933 Packard. One of only three ever made.

Spent a couple hours cleaning this up today:

It was fun to drive it, even if it was only a few hundred feet from the front of the shop around back :p That was definitely a new experience!

I can't wait for August. I'm sure it's going to be plenty busy with a lot of really nice cars for the the Morgan Adams Concours. I'm looking forward to learning more about different products to use on the cars and the process so I can detail my Legacy (I do get to use the product on my car for no charge). Definitely going to take some before and after pictures to show the difference!
