1-3-2-4 Posted July 15, 2018 Share Posted July 15, 2018 I’ve had my rx350 projectors for awhile finally ordered some 5k Philips bulbs I just need to get a drivers side headlight now.. ordered the black lens about 3 weeks ago. My headlights are so cloudy.. yes I cleaned them as much as I could but it did not make much of a difference. So it’s just best to start new. And yes, cloudy outer lenses are annoying, I have them and they reduce output by a fair margin, as well as increase glare. Have to try to keep them clean... 1-3-2-4 Posted July 21, 2018 Share Posted July 21, 2018 So I tried with a depo shield it's no good with the RX330 bowl at first I thought it was something else.. I think only one headlight on my car is OEM I know the other is either depo or TYC so I'll just get the shield out of that but change the whole housing.. as of now until tuesday I can't really do too much. Getting rx330’s perfect is a lot of work. So the Mini D2S 4.0 is OE equipment on what vehicle? The appeal of the RX330 parts is that they obviously meet the FMVSS being the OE parts for Lexus. You can look for second hand pair of HID headlights, or get components separately (e.g. Black series projectors, then the bulbs and ballasts later). I think I bought a pair of AFS and a pair of non AFS. Then I procrastinated for many months and lost track of what is what and all the Photobucket photos are now garbage so I couldn't find a descent writeup with pictures anymore.
