Which O2 sensors?

Recommended Posts

Hey all,

I've got a few codes for front O2 sensor/mixture lean/front heater circuit errors.

I gather starting with a new front O2 is the best course of action. But anyone suggest a specific one?

I posted that in this thread a while back. Lot's of good info there.

For the rear O2 most of us with Tunes, have that code deleted.

This is a 234-9120 and that connector is not the same.

I'm looking at what I think is the right one here

But it says it's not heated and one of my codes is Front 02 sensor heater control circuit. So is this the right part if not fault code is implying I need one with a heater circuit?

Thanks.

Here's the front O2 in my 05 GT wagon from years back. I see it appears to have a black/gray outer cord. But you can see the inside wires.

Oh dear, here's a front with the yellow outer cord.

The yellow could be on my 2009 Spec B...?

I'd say the lower one in your picture is the correct one. Not the upper one in your picture with the orange inside.

See the picture from the link (in post 10) showing the Denzo sensor connector.

Please show us which sensor has the double blade white inside in your hand, I'm confused about what your showing because I can't see all the blue cord.

Or which end is attached to which cord, yellow or blue...

I see the 234-9035 is showing as the correct sensor for a 2009

Partsgeek shows a sensor looking like it has a orange inside for a 2008-2009 2.5T

Autozone shows the same orange inside for a 2005.

But you can see mine for a 2005 is white inside. When you enter the info for a 2005 on partsgeek, you get the sensor with the white insides like mine.

So may be I should update the link I posted in JmP's sticky.
