My Spec B is in CT, I'm currently in VT with the wagon. Last weekend of the ski season for me. Edited by Max Capacity

305,600miles 5/2012 ej257 short block, 8/2011 installed VF52 turbo, @20.8psi, 280whp, 300ftlbs. (SOLD).  CHECK your oil, these cars use it.

I think (s)he's asking how you got an OEM TMIC to mate up to a VF48. VF48 has a cylindrical outlet that takes a rubber or silicone coupler, whereas the Spec B and LGT TMIC interfaces with the turbo via a flat flange.

See VF48 here:

VF52 (which would mate up with the OEM TMIC on the Spec B) here:

Forgive me. I may have been misinformed by my friend. He told me that it was a vf48 on my car. It is stock a stock OEM turbo that would come with the car. I thought the vf48 was the stock turbo for the spec B's. This is my first Subaru do I could be mistaking. What is it supposed to be?
