Tablespoon Posted March 11, 2020 Share Posted March 11, 2020 My 1997 Legacy had an OBD code P0141 (O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction (Bank 1, Sensor 2)). I assumed the oxygen sensor was bad, so I went under the car with a multimeter and checked, but the oxygen sensor heater was fine, according to the multimeter. So I reset the code, and the check engine light stayed off for a couple days, but then it came back on, with the same code. What do you think the problem is? I'm wondering if the wire or plug leading to the oxygen sensor is bad, and if I should figure out how to replace the wire. Thanks. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
doublechaz Posted March 12, 2020 Share Posted March 12, 2020 I would at least inspect and clean the wire and connectors. That could turn in to quite a bit of work. If you get a pdf of the Factory Service Manual from online it will help a lot. Mine is good so far, but I live in Arizona.
