Need Cobb AP to unlock an '07 OBXT ECU

A while back I tried to get an open source tune and the tuner couldn't write to the ECU. He said it looked like it had been locked by a tuner, probably a Cobb AP. The PO of my car had mentioned when I bought it that he once had an AP connected to the car but it was stolen. I'm hoping there's someone locally who would marry their AP to my car, flash, then unflash and unmarry the ECU to hopefully free it up for an open source tune. Seatac is home for me but I've been going back and forth between there and Moses Lake.
