superdopepenguin Posted March 5, 2016 Share Posted March 5, 2016 Aloha all, I just hit 100k mi in my 05 Lgt 5mt Ltd and am looking to do some upgrades. I flashed stage 1 (Cobb AP), got a catless uppipe and cobb sts on the way. Have done a lot of searching/reading and it sounds like a rear sway bar is a good next step? Looking for any advice on size, brand, if I should do front + rear, and if I need to upgrade anything else like struts, coils, endlinks, etc when I do this. ashwinearl Posted March 5, 2016 Share Posted March 5, 2016 Most say that if you get a bigger rear sway bar to also put in a reinforcement bracket (like the AVO one) at the same time. For endlinks, Kartboy's and Moog are often recommended. The stock mounts for the rear sway bar can bend/break. If they break, they need to be re-welded. I personally didn't see a huge improvement with just sway bars. I later went with Koni inserts and stock springs and am still on the fence of going with some stiffer springs. 100k on the stock struts and they are probably tired.
