Horm2124
Hey I am thinking about getting these 18in sti rims. http://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/09/09/c05bce6f7c6fd46b5394ed0ffa54a4d5.jpg I have a stock ,05 LGT its my first car so I am new to the car world. Is there any other mods I would have to do to make these rims work. (Hubs, brakes, wheel wells) And dose anybody now a good place to get these rims. I have found a few places but you guys might know some place better. Thanks.
subiebeast22
You could just get some 5x100 to 5x114.3 adapters. A lot cheaper than hubs, brakes etc....
Drift Motion
hub swap to 5x114.3, redrill wheels, or run adapters the latter two are dangerous and should not be done
fedaykin
Adaptors will also space out your wheels by at least 20mm.
Horm2124
Why are the adapters dangers?
I3eXa
hub swap to 5x114.3, redrill wheels, or run adapters the latter two are dangerous and should not be done Driving buzzed is more dangerous. I can't ever understand how people think a different offset achieved by spacers rather than different wheels is dangerous. More wear on wheel bearings and another spot for failure due to 5 more lugs/studs but how many people have had accidents or wheels fall off due to spacers?!?
