XRT Tune, knock and Spark Plugs

First pic is #1 and 2, second #3 and #4

 

Replaced with NGK lfr7aix gapped to .31 per Eds instructions

 

Not seeing the fine knock anymore driving it, sent Ed a 2 logs to verify the problem is resolved.

They do look like they are running hot, especially #3?

 

Good to see the problem solved. Ed looks to be pretty good with what he does!

 

I thought so as well, #3 looked hotter, and #4 had some dark spots on the ground electrode.

 

I’ve drove it about 50 miles, had a couple small fine knock adjustments on the trip, no DAM drop, stayed at 1.0 so I think it’s just a matter of ecm learning now. I sent Ed a driving log and a 3rd gear pull.

 

Definitely much improved. Ed made a couple tweaks off the logs I emailed and sent me an updated calibration.

 

I’ll load it up and drive it.
