HA! This is great. Got the band back together again! It's fun resurrecting old DIY's for a later generation of modders. I'm just glad Monkiboy posted the whole saga on another forum so it's still available.

funny reading the DIY a decade later. it made a very noticeable difference and ultimately, now that we know what to do and avoid, isn't that much of a hassle. hope it helps!

Monkiboy, did you already have a Grimmspeed M/C brace installed, before you did the swap? I'm curious how the two compare because I had decided against doing the swap (I have the parts but am reluctant to deal with the line adjustments). I'm on the verge of selling the booster/MC I have but I'm now having second thoughts. I have the Grimmspeed brace and it does a good job of making the brakes feel more solid, but I'm wondering what I could get if I do the full monty...
