Could someone please photoshop my side skirts black? over the weekend someone on a bicycle ran into the side of my car and left some huge scratches on the mirror cover and side skirts. I am toying with the idea of painting them black along with my front lip when I get it next week. I know they are not the best pictures but they are the only ones I have atm. Also, how in the hell do I remove the mirror covers? Thanks!:)

I don't want to plastidip. I want a gloss black...Primer, Paint, clearcoat...If you can't help me with Photoshop, go start a hot girl picture thread and enjoy.

You don't have to be rude, Plastidip is cheap and peels right off. FYI you can get a glossy look from Plastidip, just do some research.

Finally.

I'm a big fan of learning how to do things yourself.

Paint.NET is free, just Google it. No one taught me how to use it, so I'm not very good at it. But even I can simulate powdercoating your plastic rocker panels:

I've done this one... now you try the other.

BTW, there is a thread out there to request photoshops.

so to clarify, you dont want to plastic dip it to try it out and then peel it off and make it permanent? if you plastic dip it first and not like it then you can always go back. how about rhino liner instead of paint to make it rugged?

I have other parts of my car plasti dipped already. That is not the look(glossy or matte) that I want for my rocker panels and lip.

Why not just wrap it in some 3M vinyl? You can get the 1x5ft lengths cheap enough...removable...lasts a long time if you like it...many options to choose from?

That is something that I had not thought about. Although the reason I wanted to paint is because of the scratches...I need to sand them down. If I used 3M it would show through Im sure. The scratches protrude.

If you are going to paint them then you have to sand them down and prep them correctly. If not they will peel in no time. Believe me I know I painted car parts for a while and it is a pain to see them peel. If I was you I would just paint them same color, but that is just me.

And I though the thread jacking was fun, so I am mot apologizing! Your title and description of what you wanted to do made it teh funny.
