I also use the ATEQ-Quickset to change sensors in the car when swapping summer/winter wheels. However I went with Dorman 974-029 sensors which don't require initialization by a shop or TPMS scan tool. I believe RockAuto classifies that type of sensor as "no programming required".

18x7.5 Et 50 BBS RE875

It will sit just like a stock wheel, if you’re looking for a better flush fitment or look those won’t do it. Now if you were to add Hubcentric 20mm or 25mm spacers they would give it a much better look. Also being a 7.5” width wheel I would go with a 235/45/18, still larger diameter than stock tire but the 245mm width will look way to bulky on a 7.5”. I ran 245/45 on 8” wheels and they looked spot on.

Hello guys.

Here is a picture of the new wheels installed on the car - Avid1 AV30 18x8.5 with +35 offset with 245/45/18 Yokohama Advan Sport A/S tires.

I can say that after a long brainstorming session about what offset I should choose, I went for +35 and the result was what I was looking for - as flush as possible with the fenders.

I will upload some close pictures soon. This one is from the moment when my Subi touched the European ground for the first time last month :) where I moved along with my family.

The 245/45/18 tires fit very well under the big arches and so far there is close to zero rubbing issues experienced. I'm riding with the stock suspension and there were just two times, when the car was loaded with people on the back seat and I was passing over some speed bumps, when I felt that the back tires bumped into the arches.

Looks excellent! Absolutely love seeing a modded up Sky Blue example, one of my favorite colors on this car and it's sorely under-represented. Since your in Europe now, you should see if you can find a junked European 5th gen and snag the front end from it.

I like your rims; they have a very similiar spoke pattern as the Enkei Tuning Raijin rims that I have on my car.

I'm glad you liked the final result as a color combination between the sky blue and the gunmetal. They cost me around $560 - far away of what I would pay for the Raijin.

Here are some other close shots I found in my laptop:

You likely don't have the photobucket embed fix installed on your browser.

Here's all of them re-uploaded to an imgur link, try here: https://imgur.com/a/xX7uu

I'm glad you posted this because I've been going through old threads and been like "WHAT THE HELL DID THIS USE TO BE?!"

Not that aftermarket, but i do like the way the car sits on them, these wheels gave me roughly 1 1/2" rise off the ground. And instead of 4+ fingers in between the wheelwell and the tire i can barely put in 3d3af57baaea6d360cb0d04f1962feb51.jpg20df22ec2f3bef4d4277b9a5e12eb394.jpgef3bd0bfb0abf341fdb19cbdd59bb8c8.jpg
