Basically, a few of us would need to camp there over night to get a place for parking and a meal, but it would be a lot of fun... 11 Mile Canyon. Not the State park, but the National Forest portion that is below the reservoir. I'm down! I could bring the 4Runner up and we could play a little too! life in spin cycle..... praedet Posted July 15, 2008 Author Share Posted July 15, 2008 OK, so here is the idea, a couple of us drive to 11 Mile Canyon and camp Friday night.(Assuming everyone doen't want to camp) Everyone else makes a drive down from Denver or across from the Springs on Saturday Morning. We cook-out and tube all Saturday afternoon (and some of us drink ) We grill dinner to, or go into Florrisant/Lake George. Whoever wants to camp Sat. night can, everyone one else heads back. Here are two upcoming weekends. Choose either or both, if you can do both. Then, choose which of the 3 options you would like to participate in. I for example, can do either weekend and would camp both nights... Who's up for it? Of course Family/Sign. Others are CERTAINLY invited Sat July 26th Saturday Meet only 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. Can you confirm if offraod vehicles (ATV's and dirtbikes are allowed) I have a extra helmet so two of us could ride at a time.
