islandborn
I have been thru 4 clutches over the life of my '12 LGT. NEVER did I know about this simple preventive measure. Learn from me - do it next time you change your clutch out. As you know, changing the clutch on our cars is quite labor intensive. So here I am, with 10k on my new clutch and I have to go back in to fix something so simple. The link below really has a good read on what happens as well as where I bought it from. (mine looked like the fourth picture - punched thru) Clutch fork - http://www.subispeed.com/2015-subaru-wrx/velox-billet-clutch-fork-2015-wrx-mt#.W60wLmhKi1s Clutch fork pivot ball - http://www.subispeed.com/2015-subaru-wrx/drivetrain/clutches/velox-billet-clutch-fork-pivot-2013-ft86#.W60wnmhKi1s Don't go with OEM - no reason as the cost is not that significant between them. Go buy it and do what Zee and GTEASER does - put it on your shelf - so that when you change your clutch, do this too. Even if you don't need to! Do it. Much love and you're welcome for the enable. eckseleven
Good info and links to specific parts and vendors is always appreciated. I'm debating gathering up clutch parts for when the day comes. I'll keep this in mind. Now I just need someone to tell me where to get that TSK3 kit thing

Brock Samson
The OEM clutch pivot ball I used as preventative maintenance broke after just *750 miles*. Wish I had gone with Subispeed's.
Bigktx254
Can i use the billet pivot ball with the OEM fork?
Zee199969
Can i use the billet pivot ball with the OEM fork? I think it's the OEM fork that is prone to failure with a stronger aftermarket clutch. If anything, I'd go with the aftermarket fork vs pivot ball between the two, but the pivot ball is fairly inexpensive so why not replace both? SJGT
Definitely have these parts in my mind for clutch job - I think these were the fail points which caused my 1st aftermarket clutch to die an early death Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
