JmP6889928 Posted November 24, 2018 Share Posted November 24, 2018 Every one of the larger IHI turbos has that crack. VF39/43/48/52 all use the same exhaust housing and they all crack. Unless it's all the way up the side of the housing, it won't hurt anything. That particular turbo looks like it has more problems than the crack anyways. The exhaust turbine is not centered in the housing and I would seriously check the sideplay/in and out play before installing it on anything.
