monkeyposeur
An '02 wrx clutch works on a SS. I don't see why it wouldn't work on a NA first gen but I can't say for sure.
USLiberty
All turbo clutches are a hydralic pull type, na's use a cable and a pushtype. To do this you would need a SS pedal set and clutch cylinder... I swapped my L with SS equipment and I had to drill a few holes in the firewall to mount the slave cylinder. monkeyposeur
Crap! That sucks. I have an SS transmission that I want to swap into my L but I don't have the pedal set and clutch cylinder.
USLiberty
Correction, The 06+ wrx has a hydraulic push type clutch now. Im pretty sure, You could use a regular cable clutch and pedal set on the SS trans, just wont hold as much power. All the 5 speeds are pretty much interchangeable, a 5spd clutch will even work in a 6 spd but not the other way around.
