Yes....if you already have OEM fogs just unplug them and instal the Morimotos in their place......If not, just remove the stock fog light covers and you will see the wiring harness in the cavity...Plug and play :) Of course you will need the new fog light bezels and the relay that goes in the engine bay fuse box and the switch for the dash. Easy and quick ;)

Picked up all the parts at the local dealer today - OP's parts list is spot on - thanks. Only real problem I had was with the plugs, as I should have probably waited for the temperature to be on the positive side of celcius :)

Plugs were a little tough to connect - but I got it done.

Will post a pic once it's dark.....

Is there a write up available on the LED fogs? They look really nice and I'd like to see some night shots as well if possible. Also, has anybody done this install on their fifth gen Legacy?

installed these DLM fogs with the built in seperate DRL's on 2010 LGT - fitment was good - no issue there - just need to ensure i'm understanding exactly what I need to do to hook up the DRL's - the extra wiring comes with it - I think I just need to tap into whatever power source I would run them with. I believe this is the wiring coming out of the smaller DRL's that are in with the high beams. just not sure what the recommended way to tap into it is

I'm glad the parts list is of help. I know that fog light switch was the real pain for everyone before.

A lot of the same questions have occasionally popped up on this thread. I will clarify a couple of points.

If you own a 5th gen the car is pre-wired for the fog lights.. All you need are the parts I listed if you don't already have factory fog lights on your car. You can likely use whatever suitable aftermarket fog light housing you prefer. I just posted the ones I bought and I'm happy with them.

It is a very simple install requiring few parts and there really isn't anything to it other than what I posted. Use the PDF as a guide to get a better sense of what going on.

Good to see this is getting used though.

OMG I need these. If I already have fogs on my 2011 do I just need the retrofit housings? Or would more parts be required? Thanks.

No retrofitting...just buy these led housings and literally just swap out the oem housings for the led ones. 15 minute job tops

Ahh I'm going to hate my already huge AMEX bill even more...

Although I didn't put much time into fitting them (literally seconds, was in a rush to get my headlights assembled), the Type S fogs didn't 'drop in' into my bumper (Australian BR9 Legacy/Liberty, so JDM front bar?).

Here's are pics of the factory fog light:

I'll have a proper crack at it later to see what's going on.

Thank you so much for this thread. I’m new here and this was my exact situation. Just ordered it all and excited to put it all together.

Btw, I’m sure there’s another thread for this but what options do we have on upgrading our headlights?

I have the 2010 Leggy GT. Found one in AZ with 56K so I flew there and drove it back to CA!
