mailman
I'm down to one bolt. This one under the starter. I need help from you lhd folks who have to deal with such a horrible thing- I can get a socket on it, but it hits the steering linkage. This is my parts car and its in bad shape so I'd prefer to go from above rather than remove the axle. Any tricks? Do I have to remove the steering linkage?http://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b250/winterfourever/DSC01166.jpg
Osei
Depends on how large your hands are. A ratcheting open end will work. Long extensions and a swivel joint on a socket will work from below. O.

mailman
I bought a new wrench that fit better and used a hammer and stick to break it loose. 96 L Ruby mica pearl. Breaking it free of the transmission was also difficult. Good thing I have a beefy engine hoist.
