PortCityLGT Posted September 3, 2012 Share Posted September 3, 2012 Hi all, Not sure if this thread belongs here, but it seemed most appropriate to me. Feel free to move! My LGT has developed a leak at or somewhere near the rack, on the drivers side. I cleaned it up and tried to pinpoint the exact location, but had no luck. Searching didn't turn up much, so I'm hoping someone can point me in the right direction. Power steering isn't really something I'm familiar with, is there a seal/o-ring or something similar that could have given way? What else is down there that could cause a leak? dr_sharp Posted September 7, 2012 Share Posted September 7, 2012 i'm really not familiar with steering either, but I believe that I have some fluid leaking through the boot that surrounds the tie rod on the driver's side.
