Finally got around to listing my trusted 08 LGT for sale - it's been an awesome and incredibly fun DD for the past 8-9 years, but has spent 99% of its time stored in a garage since mid-2019 as I find myself DDing my overlander build instead. So, it's time to pass the torch onto someone else who will continue to appreciate and love the LGT as much as I have (and still do).

 

Overall, the LGT is in great shape after 157k miles, both aesthetically and mechanically, but is a 12yo car that has been well-loved and -used during the 8-9 years of my ownership -- it was my daily driver, my road trip car, and my adventure-mobile -- the paint is not perfect despite annual details for the past 4 years (including 1- and 2-step paint corrections), there are some minor dents and dings from idiots in parking lots and runaway shopping carts, and despite my annual winter prep (frequent undercarriage spray downs + Fluid Film), there is some of that notorious Subaru rear passenger fender rust starting to form.

 

The interior is in excellent condition - you'll only really see some wear on the driver's seat (~7.5/10), but the passenger seat was infrequently used (~8.5/10), and the rear passenger seats were probably used, at most, a handful of times during my ownership (9.5/10).

- Cobb AccessPort v3 with magnetic windshield mount, preloaded with pro-tune maps for 93oct

- JmP VF52 with upgraded journal bearings

- IP&T filtered turbo oil supply line

- Perrin front and rear sway bars with rear sway reinforcement brackets (rare)

- Pretty much every Whiteline suspension bushing + steering racking bushings

- Upgraded to aluminum lower control arms (lighter than stock LGT LCAs)

- Group N motor mounts, transmission mount, cross member bushing

- Cobb short shifter with Front and rear shifter bushings

- Kartboy exhaust hangers

 

Braking & Wheels/Tires:

- Gold Brembos with Red decals up front

- Hawk HPS pads all around with Centric Premium rotors

- Enkei Raijins in Gunmetal (18x8.5, +45, 5x100), with TPMS, wrapped in Michelin Pilot SuperSports (245/40R18) all around

- RREV FRP grill painted black

- Retrofitted headlights with TRS XB35 Morimotos with cleared corners

- Yellow HID fog lights with yellow LaminX film (Diode Dynamics)

- STI aluminum pedal set

- Driving lights mounted behind grill with yellow LaminX film, wired to interior cabin switch by driver's side fuse panel

- Fumoto valve for easier oil changes

- 35% Wincos IR tints all around done by Signature Detailing in Hillsborough (highly reputable)

- Primitive Racing front skid place (3/16" Rally Tough, no holes)

- Lloyd Mats Luxe Floor Mat for the trunk

- Grimmspeed License Plate relocation kit

- Grillcraft lower metal mesh grill

- BaysonR front lip (PU)

- Interior LEDs (including trunk) + blue LED puddle lights + LED back-up lights

- Custom protective tail-light film

- Hardwired Escort radar detector remote hidden in the foldaway ashtray (just plug in your RJ45-compatible detector, and you're good to go)

- Hardwired Aux cord (with inline filter) to center cubby

- OEM floor mats

 

Recent Maintenance Items:

- Oil change (Rotella T6)

- Replaced alternator, battery, starter, driver's side CV axles, radiator, air filter, cabin filter, DS rear Koni struts

- Transmission professionally replaced by PMP Auto Group in PA (compatible WRX 5MT with ~86k miles on it)

 

Other Notes/Considerations:

- All maintenance records, including all work from AZP, Rey (who had moved from AZP to Guten Auto in South Orange before going independent), EFI, Precision, PMP Auto group, recall work done by Subaru

- Mechanically, the car has been maintained and professionally tuned by EFI Logics and Precision. The current map is based off 93oct, GS TMIC + CAI (both are now OEM), and may benefit from a retune. The car drives and pulls great as is, but may be leaving some power on the table. The price reflects this consideration.

- Annual rust prevention with frequent undercarriage spray downs + Fluid Film

- 4 sets of keys: 2x OEM keys, 1x Valet key, 1x Custom flip key (not pictured)

- OEM owner's manual

- Will come with a slew of OEM parts (including OEM turbo, headers, sway bars/end links, BPV etc), and a small container of professionally color-matched OBP paint

- Non-smoker/-vaper, adult-owned (zero ownership of flat-brimmed hats), no energy drink has ever been crushed in this car (only coffee), never raced/tracked/auto-x'd, only ever transported people (no pet fur, dander etc anywhere)

 

I have the clean title in hand, with the LGT garaged and ready for the next owner. Mileage will not go up.

 

Asking $6700 or best reasonable offer.

Dang, right parts, right tuner, right price. Any chance of a compression test or oil analysis from Blackstone? Someone needs to jump on this and keep it in the Suby fold.

@shralp - Thanks for the positive comments! My last compression test was done several years ago by AZP just before my Precision pro-tune, and the numbers across the cylinders were solid. I do have a more recent Blackstone oil analysis, which also came back clean. Goes without saying, but I'd be more than happy to have a PPI arranged with a reputable shop for any serious buyer.

Yeah I just got my timing service and F/R Diff done. Ive been in a loaner Ascent for three days while they replace the airbag and I can honestly say I miss my LGT.
