215/70r16 for '08 3.0

Well the outback forums have been a dud for trying to get some input so here we go..

I'm gathering information for wanting to go

for a all terrain/ultility daily driver so I'm wanting to downsize my wheel&tire combo but gain a little height in the process if that makes sense.

From what I've been told and playing with will they fit.com a 215/70r16 should be fine to clear stock strut for now until I decide to do a 1.5 or 2inch spacer and also I'm assuming 16s will clear the stock brakes.
