SRBubba Posted January 17, 2018 Share Posted January 17, 2018 Hello folks I am new to the forum. Thanks for taking me. My son has a 98 Legacy GT with the 2.5. He threw a rod on Saturday and we are looking for a replacement engine. Has anyone bought a JDM engine from a vendor or ebay? Was the engine worth it? Was it plug and play or do you have to do a lot of swapping before the new engine would work. I am torn between buying a rebuilt long block or a JDM engine. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
