SoCal - Los Angeles, Parting Out my 08 LGT, this is what for sale

Recommended Posts

SoCal- Los Angeles parting out 08 LGT - Prefer local pick up

Unfortunately, blew the main rod bearing on the shortblock. loud knocking noise. Dealer quoted me $6-7k and it doesn't seem worth it anymore. I decided to part out and put the OEM parts back on to sell/junk. I'm still parting out as we speak. Super sad still, but life must go on.

Added Note: I did my best to look up the lowest price I could find and then price everything accordingly. If you see something you like and the price I have listed doesn't make sense, I am open to offers. I'm trying to be as reasonable as possible.

I see that 'shralp' mentioned he was running a set of the ProDrive mufflers, his avatar is a wagon. Would love these if they didn't look too "sunken" on the wagons. I can have a friend pickup for me in LA/OC.

Interested in both hood scoop/mufflers.

Rainy day COVID lock down with nothing better to do than go pull the cover back on the track car and take pics of the Prodrives for folks that want to know spacing. These are sedans to be sure, note the length of tips and compare to the sellers specs maybe they are different? Would love to have gotten wagons but these are so hard to get, when you see a pair you buy them. Don't mind the spacing differential all that much, I'll take an innie rather than an outie on exhausts, can't stand ones that stick out beyond the bumper, too ricey. I was concerned a bit about discoloring on the paint around the valance. These have been on a few years now, there is slight discoloring around the outer ridge of the valance but no melting and the clearcoat is still there. Probably could be rubbed out twice a year to keep it nice and bring the color back. I just can't really see it on RBP, its dark enough to hide it pretty well.

I added some pictures of the exhaust. Doesnt stick out past the bumper. Interesting to see that on the wagon, i never knew.

correct me if i am wrong, shraph's mufflers is a tad too short and daniel's a tad too long.

i think you ought to trade mufflers, then i can purchase itsdaniel's for my sedan. :)

So are yours actually wagon Prodrives or just the same as mine? As you can see from my pics it's 7.5" tip from the can to the underside of the tip.

After measuring the ones i had, it is the roughly the same. from the bottom i got 8" but not sure if you went flush to can or to edge. The top measured 9". Is it confirmed that Prodrive made 2 different exhaust for sedan and wagon?
