About the same distance from me. I'm chocked-full of appointments between now and the 22nd, though. :(

ETA: I definitely cannot scout until the week of the 25th. :(:(

The issue with Adventure was outrageous. It sounded to me like the employee driving the car and those who allowed him to do it should have been arrested for theft. The way the dealership tried to deal with it initially was despicable.

The employee's driving record was atrocious.

Hey fellas. There's a Sage Green 2012 Forester 5mt at Tony's Auto World in Parma. I might think about picking it up.

Anyone nearby there and feel like helping a brother out? Make sure you don't all go check it out tho, they'll be stuck on price if a dozen ppl show up!

Hi all! Name's Zach and I'm new to the forum and subies. Picked up a white '05 LGTW back in December.

I live in Cleveland Heights near Mayfield and Warrensville. Often found around Legacy (hey-oh) shopping center or Coventry/Uptown area. Work in Willoughby as well.

Right off the bat, does anyone have any trusted mechanics or tuners in the area they could recommend? Only lived in the CLE a few years so not too familiar with the area. The car is in great shape, but it would be good to know where others go. Especially since I'll be looking at AP or an open-source tune soon.

Anyway, glad to be a part of the club (if you'll have me) and maybe I'll see some of you around!

Hi Zach,

Ours lives near Cedar-Taylor. I generally do the maintenance myself. I received a mailing recently from a shop in Willoughby I think claiming they were Subaru specialists. The prices they advertised were higher than a similar mailing from one of the dealers.

Currently, our wagon is at Cascade in Cuyahoga Falls for the airbag inflator recall. They tell me the entire dash has to come out to change the inflator. Hopefully I'll get it back tomorrow.

Welcome to the forums. I'm also in CH-UH but you will most likely spot me in my Cruze. Legacy been down for quite a bit. summer 2016 seems promising.

Same dealer is where I went since the Forced 4's one in Bedford Auto Mile seems to have higher priced OEM parts. I wonder if they still honor F4's member cards or not.

Willoughby keeps sending me "trade in your 2005" and your car shoulod need servicing letters all the time. I may call them one day and see if they want it that bad. One time I was there someone traded in an 05 LGT and the engine took a crap after they took the car in. They just happened to have 2 STi blocks in stock for all the dead 4 gens they see.

Okay thanks for the info. It didn't seem like there were any subie specialists in Cleveland. I want to try to do most of the maintenance i can by myself, but I'm sure I'll find something I can't

Thanks! What's wrong with the Legacy?

I went to the Subaru of Bedford for an allignment after hitting a massive pothole and was pleased with the service. I honestly have never heard of the F4 group before reading up on this thread. I'll have to take a look at that.

Wow that's crazy about the blocks. Think they sell them cheaper than a new short block? I'm anxious to get working on my car once it warms up, namely the cat uppipe and banjo bolt filter.. I'd rather have to hit them up for one of those spares haha.

F4's is gone and replaced by NEOSOC. LERSOC is the older crowd but you won't find most of those guys on purpose. They tend to keep to themselves off somewhere. Ganley was one of the sponsors, Rob would go grab a new car and park it at the meet where outsiders would see it and possibly test drive it. Don't think they let him get a STi granted Doug had one then. That's when I realised Ohio lets you put collector plates on literally a new car. Same for certain WRB STi's in certain years as it's "Rare enough to have collectors plates and no emissions.

A combination of what looks like everything happened. Gonna be engine block 2 and turbo 3 when finished. Haven't taken the heads apart from the block but have a feeling those may be going too. I got the block cheaper than what online shipped is.

Ohh I see. Think it was anything that could've been prevented? I'm hoping to not have similar "luck" haha.

I know a Brandon who works out at the LA Fitness in Legacy Village. Only know him because he knew a friend of mine I went to college with, so Idk his last name haha. Same guy, maybe?

Nope, not the same.

I think I mistook you for someone else! My friend Brandon's friend with a Subaru has an Impreza, it turns out.

The Impreza owner also had a blow-out due to a pothole just a short while ago, and also went to Subaru of Bedford. :)

Good evenin' fellas! Was curious if you guys ever had meets here in the Cleveland area. I don't see many turbo or H6 Subaru's in the area here. A few WRX's here and there and that's it. I caught a glance of the tailights of a 4th gen LGT in Sandusky the other day but that was it.

Not since F4 days. Best I could suggest is NEOSOC off facebook but I haven't gone to any meets. Feels weird showing up to a Subaru meet in a Chevy.

Legacies are plentiful here in N/A form but every now and then i get to spot a random GT/Sherk B still in service. This year feels like the year mine will run again.

Hey everyone, I'm wondering if anyone in the area has a 5th Gen GT. I'm mainly trying to decide if I want an aftermarket exhaust, and would like to hear some in person, but would also like to see any other mods in person. I'd be interested in going to any meets anyone knows of, too. I'm not too optimistic, though, as I have only see one other 5th Gen GT on the road, and it was in Columbus:icon_frow

I have not seen one of those in real life. I barely see 4 gen GT's like how many were made? Most I see is the current gen N/A 4's and 6's

There's a white NA 4th gen wagon around my work all the time... makes me hate my silver. To date, I could count on one hand how many local 4th gen GTs I've seen.

Mine'll be up for sale in the spring if anyone's looking... KW coils, tons of Whiteline and AVO suspension bits, custom Corsa exhaust, Accessport, and Advan wheels included...

I'm not sure how many 4th Gen GTs were made, but from what I understand only 1900 5th Gen GTs were sold in the United States. I see 4th Gen GTs every once in a while, inf cat there's one that works in the same industrial park as I do.

Baconbits- I'd be interested in seeing your car, as I haven't really had a chance to see any modified LGTs in real life, and I'd like to hear some exhaust. I won't be interested in buying it, though, as I just bought my 5th Gen this summer.

We are still driving our black wagon. University Heights. Wife is making noise about a new car. I'll keep it as a winter car. Too bad Subaru doesn't build a comparable car anymore. Closest thing may be a Golf sportwagon, but it sounds like it is underpowered and I don't want their reliability issues.

I've only seen a handful of LGT sedans and just saw another wagon for the first time a few weeks ago in Willoughby. I'm in Cleveland Heights near Warrensville and Mayfield. Plan on keeping mine as long as it's feasible.. As rusty as she is
