That1guy Posted December 27, 2014 Share Posted December 27, 2014 Lomg story short; bought a 98 2.5 gt with blown engine, did an engine swap but now the car has a billion electrical gremlens. The starter won't crank at all and while the key is in the ignition the fuse box under the hood clicks as well as the abs unit on passenger and all the interior lights do a corresponding flicker. johnegg Posted December 28, 2014 Share Posted December 28, 2014 disconnect the battery. put the key in the ignition and turn it all the way to start. let go of the key . (it will turn back to the run position.) connect the battery. any time you install /connect a battery the remote entry / alarm system assumes you are stealing the car, unless you have the key in the run position. another thing to check are the green diagnostic connectors under the dash. they are supposed to be DIS-CONNECTED.
