Joe Biju Jose Posted November 29, 2018 Share Posted November 29, 2018 My 2007 legacy automatic, sometimes shifts at 4000, 5000 rpms even if I continue to accelerate. The turbo kicks in and the rpm boosts up and at a very early point (5k rpm) it just stops accelerating and disengages the turbo which I recon happens with a shift in gear. The car throws itself after the gear shift which creates a rough jerk. When it shifts at around 7k rpm, the transmission is super smooth. Does anyone else face the issue? Know what it is? After I fixed all the vac leaks and such and a tune it's pretty rare it will jump gears now. If you can do some logging, check for leaks or any mechanical issues.
