Nisaar
I was looking to get some used wheels for winter i want to put on my 2010 subaru legacy 3.6. Tires i have are 225 50 17 and i know the bolt pattern form wheels are 5x100. I’m just unsure how the offset and width would work. I found some wheels from a scion tc for a good price and wondering if they would work
Sarang
you can use willtheyfit.com to compare your stock wheels to those and see how close it is. I'm pretty sure that any OEM Subaru 17" 5x100 wheels will work BTW.
FLlegacy
I would suggest test fitting one to be sure it will look and fit correctly. I would be wary of the offset. Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk
Nisaar
So this wheel is 17” diamater, 7” width and 45mm offset
Nisaar
So this is what i get, not sure if this is okay or not but the new wheels would be further away from the suspension
creep_nu
the other thing to consider is the center bore. if the bore is too small they won't fit, too big and you'll need hub centering rings. the rings are cheap, but don't run wheels without them. Sarang
That should be fine. If anything you'd want to be a bit farther from the strut. I had OEM GT wheels installed with 25mm spacers and taller tires and never had an issue. I'm pretty sure that the center bore is the same.

Perscitus
Creep_nu is correct. Scion tC and almost all other Toyota wheels will NOT fit. The hub bore on these wheels is too small for 5th gens and other 5x100 mating Subarus. Ironically, the other way around (5x100 bolt pattern Subaru wheels on a Toyota or Scion) will fit just fine with a tiny hub centric ring. I sold and fitted my OE 3.6R 17s onto a 2003-2007 era Toyota Corolla/Matrix. Same wheel pattern as a first/second gen Scion tC. Just pickup some used OE Subaru wheels with the right bolt pattern (most models are 5x114) and whatever offset, wheel width and call it a day. Can be had cheap (>$400 for a set) if you shop around.
