Hanger
First encounter with this problem after 7 years of ownership. Everything was fine until I parked the car and got take out. I turned on the ignition and switch on the light, but no headlight. The interior dash and center console is on, the parking light is on but NO HEADLIGHT? WTF is the problem here? I had to drive 3 miles on local street with only my halos on, i feel so stupid! ○ ○ ○ Instagram: itshangertime :spin: ○ ○ ○

Max Capacity
I'm thinking both burned out at the same time, or you bruned out a while ago and he never noticed. Subaru made a stronger bulb back in late 04 or so. I was going through low beams and Silverstars every few weeks back in that time. Then I bought the OEM replacements and they lasted until few months back, one low beam when it and I bought 65w Osrams through the link in this site. http://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php/daniel-stern-lighting-and-subaru-headlight-options-45991.html 305,600miles 5/2012 ej257 short block, 8/2011 installed VF52 turbo, @20.8psi, 280whp, 300ftlbs. stanjk3
If those were still the original bulbs you're overdue for new ones anyway. Bulbs dim over time. Osram Rallye bulbs are a nice upgrade. http://store.candlepower.com/osraulhiouh7.html Friends don't let friends drink cheap beer.

Chameleon
Reason I ask is because the same thing just happened to me right now. start with checking you low beam fuses first ... if they are ok ... it is very possible both bulbs are just blown. As said previously that is not uncommon. g/l
OhBe1
If they're the original bulbs, you've been quite fortunate. Most of the '05-06 have short bulb life. I blame it on the DRL's but others have different opinions. 06LOB2.5i MT, JDMRSB, GYTTs, HPS, LGT Mufflers & Leather Wheel, SubiMomo Knob, Inalfa Moonroof, Clutch Switch Bypass, DeDRLd, DeChimed, & Straight Headrest. Firepuma
It was both the bulbs having gone out at the same time. Weird but an easy fit-
jazzymt
I blew both the headlights at the same time on my 05 OBXT - THE DAY I BOUGHT THE CAR NEW FROM THE DEALERSHIP. It's definitely possible. Pawlwawl06
Every now and then, my driver's side headlight doesn't cut on when I first start the car. I have to get out and tap the housing. The light bulb isn't loose at all either.
Hanger
Every now and then, my driver's side headlight doesn't cut on when I first start the car. I have to get out and tap the housing. The light bulb isn't loose at all either. that happens to me every 3-6 months. before last weekend it only happens on the driver side. but now the problem had switched over to the passenger side for the first time and then both headlights. I took a look at the wiring yesterday, from what I can see, the problem is with the connectors. The pins are kind of rusted. A temporary fix I've found is to sand it down with sand paper and it'll last me another 6 months. Now I give up. Considering going back to halogen bulb or retrofit ○ ○ ○ Instagram: itshangertime :spin: ○ ○ ○
