MaStaMooN
Has anybody had any issues with this setup? Going over like speed bumps or something like that makes a pretty good clunky sound. As far as I can tell everything is tight, springs are situated correctly. I don't remember it making these sounds when I installed them last spring. apexi
If you've had this setup installed for awhile and this just started, I agree with end links. Even if they're not broken, one of the nuts could be loose.

iNVAR
Koni inserts installed incorrectly. Strut housings were cut too short possibly?
MaStaMooN
Don't think so, the nubs went in the body and I verified that the strut bottomed out. Jon - vBGarage Profile
iNVAR
How far into the body? They CAN come loose if they're not in far enough.
MaStaMooN
I don't remember exactly, but it wasn't just barely iirc. And I used the pipe cutter as far up as possible method, I believe they were slightly longer than specified. I'll have my shop look around when I bring it in for a leaky oil pan. iNVAR
Reach in behind the wheels and grab the strut housing and give it a good wiggle. Also wiggle the inserts themselves. If anything moves, you've found the problem. Otherwise, maybe your LCA bushings are shot.
