Ninjacheezit
Anyone know the part numbers for the two trunk vents. They are behind the trunk lining on the driver and passenger side. My car is leaking a good bit of water into there and I noticed the clips on them are broken off and it’s just wiggling. I really want to try to keep this car as rust free as I can. Even tho that is a big challenge in southwest PA.
Max Capacity
Wow, hard to find, I looked here. https://parts.suburbansubaru.com/Subaru_2007_Legacy-25L-TURBO-5MT-4WD-GT-Limited-Sedan/Body.html I can see the hole where they go... You might try a junkyard or the parts guy's at the dealership. 305,600miles 5/2012 ej257 short block, 8/2011 installed VF52 turbo, @20.8psi, 280whp, 300ftlbs. (SOLD). Ninjacheezit
I also looked at the fuel / trunk parts diagram assuming that’s where it would be under but there was no picture of it.
csaari
Is this it? Part number 72651AJ01A, apparently replacing old part number 72651AG00A. https://www.subarupartsforyou.com/oem-parts/subaru-pressure-vent-72651aj01a?c=cT03MjY1MUFHMDBB I was actually looking for something else, and came across that. I looked the number up on a couple of different parts sites, and that seems to be the right one. Interesting, I also found it on eBay, but it said it wouldn't fit the 2007 Legacy.... Ninjacheezit
That’s it! Thanks a lot! Might run a small bead of silicone around the new ones also just to make it even more waterproof.
csaari
Great! You're quite welcome! Yeah, a little silicone sounds like a good idea.
Mechazilla
I had a mouse climb in through there and live in my trunk for a bit. His name was SubaSqueak.
