DarkiSt
I'm hoping someone can help me with this. I changed my radiator recently and noticed the car has been overheating sporadically. Both fans engage when the temperature gauge gets above the midpoint. There is coolant in the lines. The strangest part is that the air conditioning sometimes stops working (even the blower stops), and when this happens the temperature gauge begins to climb. If I turn the AC off then back on or I do something crazy like revving past 4000rpm and then suddenly letting off of the gas, sometimes the AC/blower starts working again and the temperature gauge returns to the normal midpoint. If the AC doesn't come back on then the temperature keeps climbing and I'm forced to pull over and shut off the engine until it cools down. If the a AC starts working while I'm waiting, I can start the engine and it will return to normal temperature in about a minute. Any ideas what's going on? apexi
Since no one has replied yet, maybe try one of the burp procedures in the link below? Maybe an air pocket in the cooling system? Things might be a little different with your 2.0, but worth a try. http://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php/burping-lgts-cooling-system-looking-reassurance-161707.html
