Nohenns
Hey guys, Recently I crashed my 98 LGT and it was totaled due to frame damage. Since I didn't have collision I still have the car. I bought a LGT wagon with a broken auto so I could swap my transmission into it. The swap was a success but the auto harness was being annoying so I decided to pull the harness from my first car to put in the second. Now that it's in the car still won't start. There are multiple plugs that still are not connected and it doesn't look like they have anywhere to go. When trying to start the car the lights on the dash come on ext. but there is no crank or click from the starter. It is the starter from the manual and everything that had to be swapped was but I am stumped. Any advice is helpful! Thank you

Nohenns
it was a starter relay that was specific to the manual version of the car

Setnev
Auto harness was being annoying? Like how? There are minor differences between an auto harness and a manual harness and if you're going Auto to Manual, the auto harness has everything the manual needs. The simplest way to flip the ECU configuration from an auto car to a manual car is by grounding pin 81 on your ECU.
Nohenns
Yea but I swapped the whole harness from the manual car into new car and the auto harness didn't have this one tan box. I think it was a relay for the switch on the clutch not sure
