robburns201
Good day all and Happy Holidays ... I am planning on doing my PS pump and was wanting to know if doing the PS Rack is a must or just recommended? And if it's a good idea to change it would there be a direct swap for it (sti/wrx)??? Wasted Potential
Did pump fail and rack was ran dry at all? If so, replace rack with quality piece. Not auto parts cheapie reman.

Wasted Potential
I had a Dorman (I think) from advance auto and another from autozone with notchiness/ not smooth on both. Weird, bought a different car and didn't have to think about the other rack haha.

apexi
I don't believe there is any oem filter in our power steering systems.
aj_mariner
I think there is a filter next to the battery, in the cavity. Don’t remember if it’s PS or brake.
