Yoshi Subie
Don't know where to post this, but I figured exterior would work. I wanted to know what the meaning of the "L7" badge is. What's the history and why do people use it? http://i555.photobucket.com/albums/jj457/erictankel/Tank02.jpg
NewLegGT67
I believe it's just 2 Ls for Legacy. The bottom is just upside down. Are we over thinking this? I'm probably the only person that has Wu-Tang Clan and Paul McCartney on their mp3.

Yoshi Subie
I've read multiple things. Some people saying it's L7 and it looks like a star and it represents the seventh star in the pleadies constellation. Others have said it actually says "LT" meaning Legacy Turbo. Some even said that the L and 7 look like an "S" at a sharp angle in a lightning bolt with the meaning of the "S" in Subaru. While some say it's just an L upside down to even out the logo. Yes we are overthinking this, but there has to be a reason why Japan decided to make that logo in the first place. I want to know that reason because not only do I want that logo on my 5th gen, but I'd like to know what to say when people ask about it instead of just saying "It's a "JDM" thing"

E-Tank
Hey! That's my old car. In Japan the Impreza has the I badge, the Forrester had the F, and the Legacy has the L's. I was told that the two L's are meant to form a T representing "Legacy Turbo." Don't know where to post this, but I figured exterior would work. I wanted to know what the meaning of the "L7" badge is.
