fehler1977
Does anyone have any thoughts on the ihi vf40 turbo. I'm not seeing a lot of information online about this manufacturer one way or the other. Good or bad. Has anyone had it any experience with this Turbo Sent from my SM-J336AZ using Tapatalk
Chocoholic005
Pretty much everyone with an 05-06 has experience with it, since its the stock turbo. Do a site search, there's more information than you could ever need.

Max Capacity
The smart move is to do what most of us have, Cobb AP stage 2, with 3" down pipe, catless up pipe. custom tune. I replaced the vf40 with a vf52, 150,000 miles ago. Vf52 is still great. 305,600miles 5/2012 ej257 short block, 8/2011 installed VF52 turbo, @20.8psi, 280whp, 300ftlbs. (SOLD). CHECK your oil, these cars use it. Engine Build - Click Here

Berge56
JMP's custom VF40 is a fantastic reliable turbo. I installed one on my buddies car and it spools very quick and is a blast on the street.

Scoobiidoo
I have a VF40 turbo with a stuck opened wastegate. Is it an easy repair or repairable? Thanks
