nayh
Hi All, Looking to upgrade my stock lines with the Goodridge SS brake lines lines (P/N: 24220). However, I've read up that there have been multiple issues with these lines failing. Does anyone know if Goodridge has fixed this yet? If anyone has installed these lines recently, have you encountered any issues? Many thanks.
Code
I’ve had them installed since 2010 or so. No issues. "Striving to better, oft we mar what's well." - Bill Shakespeare - car modder
Zee199969
I wanna say at least some of the failures were due to improper installation My "Build"
FLlegacy
I do believe there was a bad batch of them from fairly recent time period like 2018-2020 or so where the failures happened. I would stick to a brand that hasn't had that quality issue. Stoptech comes to mind, IAG offers a few brands, and I think FactionFab make them as well. whitexc
I just installed Goodridge lines on my 2009 LGT and they are doing their job so far. That was about 2000 miles ago. Sent from my SM-G996U using Tapatalk
jmhinkle
I sure hope there isn't a problem as I installed mine last night while doing 10 year old 20k mile car maintenance.

GTEASER
IIRC the failures were around the time that they switched from bare SS braided line to coated SS line. The failures were likely a result of the swage process of the end fittings not accounting for the clear tubing on the outside. I think they switched their line spec to the coated SS line about 5 or 6 years ago now. My guess is they fixed that by now.
