Humble Rumble
Left it at the dealership since they forgot I have 6-cylinder instead of 4 and delayed my spark plug change and 60k service til today. Called me and were like "Yeaaaaaaah, we forgot you have the 6-cyl, the price is xxx more money for the plugs" lmao. We mitigated the price since there's several services I'm NOT getting done with my 60k, like both air filters, tire rotation, and I provided the diff fluid, so we worked it out to still do my 6 plugs at the 4 plug price. I have a 2018 2.5i as a loaner in the mean time. I'm not a huge fan of it. First off, the steering is really heavy, and the handling feels like it sucks from what I experienced. The car feels like a rental car and nothing more. There's some nice amenities, but nothing I would ever direly need. Also, did anybody know that the 2018 has 7 "gears" in its CVT? Was driving along in 6th and saw a shift-up indicator and was like o__________O Edited January 17, 2018 by Humble Rumble 2012 Legacy 3.6R Build Thread 5th Gen Legacy BM/BR Body Kit Compendium Thread
FLlegacy
I thought it had 8 steps, but maybe that is the 3.6 I drove. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G920A using Tapatalk
Humble Rumble
Picked up from my service. Car feels great, new plugs and diff fluid is lovely. Not that I had any driving issues before, but it feels extra buttery now, and that's the whole point of preventative maintenance right? Went with Amsoil 75W-90 Sever Gear. And one of the salesman at the dealership parked his STI next to me. Also got this big ass box with a bunch of Japanese on it I'm gonna open later at home and show you guys the contents of. It's literally the size of a person haha. 2012 Legacy 3.6R Build Thread 5th Gen Legacy BM/BR Body Kit Compendium Thread

Perscitus
The HT-CVT manual mode stepping varies from model to model. Some vehicles only come with 6 'gears' (FXT), some 8 (WRX, S4, Levorg). Its a function of TCU programming and SI drive config or presence/lack thereof. Humble Rumble
Didn't see a S# knob anywhere and never saw an opportunity to shift up from 7th, so who knows. -shrug- 2012 Legacy 3.6R Build Thread 5th Gen Legacy BM/BR Body Kit Compendium Thread

cww516
I know I had to massage one of the power steering lines a little to get my RacerX charge pipe in without too much rubbing, maybe that's the general area where they were having issues.
