Falcor
What is a good glue for the foam backed leatherette on the door panels? The front of one of the rear door panels is pulled away and I am just now getting around to fixing it. It's the area highlighted in the picture. dgoodhue
I would assume the inserted are held in by some fasteners on the backside of the door panel. The door panels aren't that hard to remove, I had mine off to chase down a rattle. IIRC its just 2 screws (double check though) and a bunch of push clips (maybe 8). Once the screws are removed, pull on the bottom side of the door panel to pull out the push clips.
Falcor
I pulled the door panel a few days ago and that "insert" is actually glued directly to the door panel. You can unscrew the carbon fiber trim and the armrest, but nothing else. It looks like during manufacturing the parts are thermally welded and do not come apart. I could not find a definitive answer on what glue to use. Since I want it to be right, I'll end up pulling the panel again and take it to an upholstery shop.
