2charlie
My 2018 3.6R Limited Legacy is not spraying fluid even though the reservoir is full and it's not terribly cold. I can hear the noise when I pull the right hand lever but no spray.
aki334
If you hear the pump under the hood then your fluid could be frozen if you used summer grade by mistake.
2charlie
I opened the hood and looked at the reservoir and the liquid is not frozen though.
aki334
can you remove line from the pump near the reservoir and see if it sprays from there? That will tell you that you have a clog somewhere in the line. To be sure make sure you have 12V dc at the pump connector every time someone sprays the fluid for you. 08SpecB_DE
Do you see washer fluid dumping out under the car when you hit the sprayer? One of the hoses could have popped off.
Febreze Mee
If it's only a 2018, there's no way the hoses are old enough to have broken due to brittleness. I'm willing to bet one of them popped off somewhere. Check to see if there is a puddle of washer fluid after toggling the washer fluid nob. tmoney468
Probably not your cause, but my fathers truck had a similar issue - turned out mice chewed one of the tubes for the washer fluid. I would try to washer fluid lever and see if you see any leaking in your engine bay Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
waldguy
I opened the hood and looked at the reservoir and the liquid is not frozen though. Liquid can be frozen in the tube without being frozen in the reservoir. If you don't have a puddle under the car, and the pump is functioning, you have a blockage in the lines. Not being "terribly cold" is a little hard to quantify. 20F? 25F? Drive it into a heated or warmer area for an hour or so. Does it work then? YeuEmMaiMai
remove tube from end of pump and activate washer, if it sprays out, you know the pump is working. you should be able to turn the car ON and activate the washers and hear the pump. Skyboss-alpha1
Try running a vinegar water solution mix be sure to wipe off the vinegar as it begins to exit out the nozzle then wash off the overspray with automotive soap as the vinegar is acidic. Have done this before and works really good
