krokislegend
I just bought an aftermarket trans cooler and when it showed up there is clearly a loose piece inside the tubes that rattles back and forth when you tip around the cooler. I asked the seller to exchange for a new one and they claim the rattle is normal, and is something do with oil rollers inside to prevent oil condensation. I went to autozone and bought another similar style cooler to compare, and that one sounds like there's a little piece in there too, but its not nearly as bad or "rattly" as the first one. Sounds odd to me. Anyone ever see this with an aftermarket trans cooler? Its this style cooler: https://www.mishimoto.com/mishimoto-...yABEgKwcPD_BwE but not a mishimoto. Let me know what you guys think.
JmP6889928
It's called a turbolator and it spins the oil around a screw shaped insert to cool the oil better. Hayden invented it and the patent ran out so now everyone does it too. No issues-use it. One in each h straight tube.
