legacybt
The wagon is looking sooo good. What did you do to make the rev D/F grille fit? Is there an existing walkthrough?
Gex
There is quite a bit of trimming involved to get the grill to fit correctly. I unfortunately did not do the trimming as it was taken care of by the guy who did the color match on the paint. The bottom surround needs to be trimmed back to make it sit flush and the plastic clip holes need to be drilled out about .5” to attach to the Rev A/C bumper. Gex
Small update on the car. Two weeks ago I took her to the West Coast Subaru Show and was able to place second in class! This week I got some pretty snazzy looking Carbon Fiber engine bay covers and placed an order for a fresh set of JDM headlights being made customized for me! I am still waiting on a special set of seats I have coming for the car from Japan. Next update should have her looking even better. Super happy with the car right now. Great balance of practicality, comfort, and power.

Gex
She needs more of your carbon magic! Can’t wait to see it with the matching fuse box cover. Hopefully a radiator shroud will be soon to follow. Planning to take the car to the Big NW Subaru show at Portland International Raceway on August 5th. I’m sure I will have a ton of people ask about them! Look forward to steering them your way. Super high quality stuff Madrig. Especially if this is what you do in your spare time. You know your way around carbon fiber.

shralp
Gex, what size are you running on these wheels? Considering RPF1 for my slick tire set up on the track car next season. Hope to run 17x 9 or 9.5 but wonder if I’ll rub. Are your fenders roiled or no? Car is looking good as always!

Gex
^^ what he said. I have both front and rear rolled. I have a pretty neutral alignment and I need to raise the car a bit more. Was planning on making it a little more aggressive when I put on the KTA 124 arms that are sitting on my parts shelf.

Gex
Finally picked up my new to me seats! JDM Spec C Recaro driver seat and a Tuned by STI wagon set to finish it off. Its going to look great. The seats will take some work to make everything function as it should. Also got some new rebuilt and painted brembo calipers and suspension bits to add on the winter build. Lots of projects so little work time.

legacybt
Beautiful! There are plug'n'play airbag adapters available from Japan for the Recaro airbags if you haven't purchased them already.
Gex
Beautiful! There are plug'n'play airbag adapters available from Japan for the Recaro airbags if you haven't purchased them already. I have not! That is excellent information as I was going to go through the pain of repining the connectors. Any chance you know off hand where I could order them? I'm thinking it is this guy? https://page.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/w226308493 but i dont see a part number where I could order it from a regular vendor. Went ahead and ordered that connector off buyee. Hope it gets here quick! Edited November 20, 2018 by Gex

Thanks so much for brining it to my attention! Looks like I’m doing the Cobb flex fuel kit as well. Then I picked up a gen 1 Impreza wagon for the Gambler 500 next June. Just piling it on. Too many projects. I love it!

Briangriek
i drove past a WRX wagon today and i realised i havent seen the FT as a wagon and thought id post here to see if any of the guys talented on PS could do it. now im not saying that it will look good as a wagon because i honestly dont know but id like to see it done something in one of these styles maybe, which ever is easier i think both would look okay

Gex
Summer update. Got the wagon all cleaned up for PNW Wagonfest tomorrow. Bringing my little Impreza rally wagon as well. I got the new seats in and 95% figured out. No beeps from the passenger side but still have an airbag light. Ill figure it out someday. Also picked up a unique (none AVO) JDM double din kit. Working on figuring out what I want to do infotainment wise.
