1993 Legacy Wagon RHD Build Thread

Should be able to. The auto is FWD based and couples the AWD only when needed (IIRC) so if you f!ck with that fuse you can make it FWD all the time or AWD all the time.

If you're manual, you shouldn't have a use for it.

I could suck start a snow blower.

Rad, it looks like the other thing is a "dropping resister" which is also for the auto tranny. I've been advised against cutting them off, so should I just tuck them away somewhere? I really want to just remove them to keep things clean...

Now, I've never done what you're up to re: transmission/engine swap etc., but if I were to remove a plug or a wire I'd personally trace it all the way back and remove the wire/s entirely.

Probably the best idea.

Got a piece of NOS molding today that I had been looking for:

Also got a ton of allen bolts to replace all of the mismatched bolts all over the engine bay.

Took a bunch of photos today of my motor so I can start labeling some of the plugs. Any help identifying anything would be greatly appreciated!

I don't remember you ever saying that!

Seriously doe, I ordered the correct clutch fork and associated clips last night. Once I swap those out I can actually drop the motor in. Then its a matter of getting it wired up, which won't be easy but at least the motor will be in!
