dmedk1
My shop put in the BNR 16G EVO turbo today. Couldn't get InfamousPerformance oil line kit (out of stock) - so went with the Forced Performance oil line kit and the red in-line filter... problem is that there is no room for the filter on the block side due to the stock air intake hose -- they said even without the filter, the new oil line 'pushes into' the air intake. If you have experience with the FP oil kit/in-line filter - the question is; 1) should I get some type of "L" fitting to create clearance? 2) should I replace my air intake? And if so, which model is a good value and will ensure I have clearance? 3) ask FP to make another short oil line so filter can be moved to 'middle' of oil-line path? (I'm really wishing the InfamousPerformance kit had been available)! Thanks!
jbangoy
If it is anything like the P&L line it's just a braided 4an line. I used one of these to get the filter where I wanted it: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Earls-Brake-Line-Speed-Flex-Braided-Stainless-6-4-AN-Female-4-AN-Female-EA-/331012110572?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item4d11dbf8ec&vxp=mtr
