Sumi HTRZIII - Section width is 10.1" which is a little more narrow than some other tires. Pretty sticky for a cheaper summer tire.

I need some pics from the front with the hood closed.

If I can't get my front end on, I can at least admire yours.

I took that piece off and took the Dremel to it, no rubbing even on a wider, larger diameter tire.

it's super tight, I have since lowered the car another 1/2in with very slight rubbing. It does take some camber to fit, I'm running -3.7 front and -3.2 rear

Inspiring me to size up with my tires and pull some more camber

Love the way this looks!

Wait, what are you doing to even get that much camber? Camber plates and bolts up front? Adjustable arms in the back?

I no longer have that setup but i am still running the same camber, im using camber bolts in place of the factory ones in the top mounting hole along with the camber plates in my coilovers. As for the rear just the whiteline adjustable bushings in the stock upper arms with some whiteline toe arms. af98d6e82c03b7892c9a82e14e377328.jpg

245/40/18 Hankook V12 Evo2 on 18x8 et48

I realize it's been a while, but if you're still around... did you have regular front struts, or did you need coilovers to fit those tires?

I've got struts and I'm wondering if those will fit, or if I should go with 245/35/18 to be sure the tire doesn't rub the bottom of the spring perch.

Thanks!

245/40/17 Hankook Ventus V12 Evo2 on 8" wide +42mm offset wheels, with Konis/Eibachs. Thought I'd need to roll/pull, but have zero rub. In this picture I was at -1F/-2R, currently at -1.5F/-1R with no rub to speak off still.

Here is a picture of my setup.

what suspension are you on? I want to run a 235/45/18 on coil overs, but I will not have it low. just enough to take out the gap. not sure if it will rub.

Tokico hts struts with swift springs. Unfortunately the struts are starting to show signs of wear and they no longer exist so I'll have to replace them with something. I'm thinking of getting bilstein bts struts for the replacement.

Nsfw,

I have 245/17 on 17x8 wheels and 235/17 on 17x8 wheels if you want to test fitment on your car.

Thanks! What profile are those tires?

I'm hoping to do 245/40/18 but guessing I'll need 245/35/18 to clear the front spring perch. I'm pretty certain the width (245) will be no problem, the big question is diameter - 40 vs 35 for the profile. I'm probably just going to go 35 to play it safe, and if there's good clearance then maybe 40 with my next set of tires. (And/or switch to coilovers.)

So just if anyone wants to know, cause I have been asking. You can't fit a 235/45/18 on the legacy. I found my old car and setup. I ran a 225/45/18 on 18x8 sparco wheels with Conti DWS. It sitting on Tein SDS coilover rasied about to the top.

The new owner decided to got 235 and had to roll and get them to fit . I am just going to go with 225/45. I can't see running 40 or 35 series tire and junk roads.

I needed a roll and pull all four corners. The front tires rubbed on the coilovers (RCE T1) so I had to max the positive camber of the factory bolts, and then use camber plates to bring the front camber back into the negatives.

The rears still rub where the trim piece meets the quarter panel under full compression.
