legacybt
Got my 255s on the 8.5" Weds and surprised to say there is little to no rub. On a big bump the rear catches a little, but surprised that i didn't need to pull! What type of tire?
stocklgt
Sumi HTRZIII - Section width is 10.1" which is a little more narrow than some other tires. Pretty sticky for a cheaper summer tire.

magnusonsubie
I'm so glad you put those wheels on your car. They really do look good on black. Let me know when you get a new set, I may be ready to snag those from you by then 2005 Vader Wagon Material Tests on Ringland Failure Piston I should have held off and purchased a wagon instead of the spec.B

JohnnyWas
it's super tight, I have since lowered the car another 1/2in with very slight rubbing. It does take some camber to fit, I'm running -3.7 front and -3.2 rear Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G935A using Tapatalk Inspiring me to size up with my tires and pull some more camber Love the way this looks! MPacMan15
I no longer have that setup but i am still running the same camber, im using camber bolts in place of the factory ones in the top mounting hole along with the camber plates in my coilovers. As for the rear just the whiteline adjustable bushings in the stock upper arms with some whiteline toe arms. NSFW
245/40/18 Hankook V12 Evo2 on 18x8 et48 I realize it's been a while, but if you're still around... did you have regular front struts, or did you need coilovers to fit those tires? I've got struts and I'm wondering if those will fit, or if I should go with 245/35/18 to be sure the tire doesn't rub the bottom of the spring perch. Thanks! awfulwaffle
245/40/17 Hankook Ventus V12 Evo2 on 8" wide +42mm offset wheels, with Konis/Eibachs. Thought I'd need to roll/pull, but have zero rub. Unfortunately the struts are starting to show signs of wear and they no longer exist so I'll have to replace them with something. I'm thinking of getting bilstein bts struts for the replacement. NSFW
Thanks! What profile are those tires? I'm hoping to do 245/40/18 but guessing I'll need 245/35/18 to clear the front spring perch. I'm pretty certain the width (245) will be no problem, the big question is diameter - 40 vs 35 for the profile. I'm probably just going to go 35 to play it safe, and if there's good clearance then maybe 40 with my next set of tires. (And/or switch to coilovers.) NORULZleggy
So just if anyone wants to know, cause I have been asking. You can't fit a 235/45/18 on the legacy. I found my old car and setup. I ran a 225/45/18 on 18x8 sparco wheels with Conti DWS. It sitting on Tein SDS coilover rasied about to the top. The new owner decided to got 235 and had to roll and get them to fit . I am just going to go with 225/45. I can't see running 40 or 35 series tire and junk roads.

Code
I needed a roll and pull all four corners. The front tires rubbed on the coilovers (RCE T1) so I had to max the positive camber of the factory bolts, and then use camber plates to bring the front camber back into the negatives. The rears still rub where the trim piece meets the quarter panel under full compression.
