ssbtech
I have the old COBB rear sway bar, I think it's 22mm and I need new bushings. Any reason these won't work? http://www.whiteline.com.au/product_detail4.php?part_number=W21047G&sq=20589 Also looking for some endlink suggestions for the same bar. Don't think I need adjustable. This is for an Outback that's been lowered by about 1.5". Cheers.

ssbtech
Sorry. 2005 XT. It's a COBB bar with the COBB brackets. Currently stock endlinks. Not sure if it's the endlinks thumbing around or the bar in the bushings, but I'll change them both. It'll be nice to have some endlinks that let me use the stiffer setting on the bar too. GTEASER
Just get replacement Moog end links, they should be beefy enough. You want these. http://www.whiteline.com.au/product_detail4.php?part_number=W0406-22G&sq=16985 Also, look into the AVO RSB stabilizer. http://www.ebay.com/itm/AVO-Turboworld-Stabilizer-Bars-for-2005-09-Subaru-Outback-Legacy-S1104M1HT001T-/271932712133?fits=Make%3ASubaru&hash=item3f5073e4c5&vxp=mtr GTEASER's 2012 Legacy GT - Sold GTEASER's 2009 XTeaser - Sold GTEASER's 1992 Legacy SS - Sold
ssbtech
Perfect, thanks. I was having trouble finding bushings on the whiteline site for some reason. I already have the reinforcement brackets. Not the AVO one, but the one that looks like this: http://legacygt.com/forums/showpost.php?p=2498683&postcount=
GTEASER
Just measure your RSB with calipers before you buy bushings. GTEASER's 2012 Legacy GT - Sold GTEASER's 2009 XTeaser - Sold GTEASER's 1992 Legacy SS - Sold
drew_dst
Having the correct size of you bar is essential, especially considering the different sizes of bars that Subaru used on the Outback. The most accurate and easy method is the caliper for sure. But if you don't have any calipers, I created this free tool that you can print off and just wrap around your bar. http://www.aftermarketsuspensionparts.com/blog/free-sway-bar-measuring-tool/ I also wrote a blog and shot a video on 6 different ways to measure a sway bar. Check it out: http://www.aftermarketsuspensionparts.com/blog/how-to-measure-a-sway-bar-6-different-ways/ Good luck with your install, it's pretty straight forward.
