jonnyt88
Anyone have issues with axles working their way out slightly on lowered outbacks? 2008 OBXT, LGT Struts, H&R legacy lowering springs. Summary: Pulled engine and reinstalled Weird low groaning/vibration, only in D and R. Goes away when pressing mildly brakes, even @ 4k and still accelerating. Was told to check axles as might have come out a bit when jacking the transmission. Drivers axle had a torn boot so I replaced it. the sound was a lot quieter, but more from the other side now. Loosened the passenger hub nut, tapped it in some, and the car was nice and quiet for about 5 miles. Before it started again. Still overall quieter though. Rhitter
None. On my end. Don't think I ever went as low as you did though. I have had to have parts out many times though which maybe gave them the chance to adjust to the new height? My OBXT build
bdcvg
Did the axles seat all the way back into the trans? They sit tight against the seal with a noticable "click" when in all the way.

Hmm... I didn't hear the click. However, I removed the hub nut, jacked up the hub so it was parallel, and reseated them.. so far it seems better. I am planning on getting the car up a bit before next winter. Might be sooner though as I have the parts, and lack of funds for the other car needs as they require purchasing parts.
