Everyone's rides are looking great!

Update: Recently attended Subiefest so we got festive and dressed for the occasion! We did the Autocross and actually didn't do soo bad haha! Having chopped off one of my fingers the day before the event (seriously, I got the chop ), being on all season tires, no tune, and honestly taking it easy.... out of 38 cars (most were STI's believe or not), we placed 15th. We were the only OBXT out there as well

If you want to see the videos of the car running at Subiefest, they are up on my IG: @tinkeringtolo

Super strong! Looks freaking awesome. So much goodness here.

Good job on your research.

So why Legacy sized tires vs outback? I ask bc if you plan to stay with that diameter, you can swap out the abs module to get the speedo to be much closer to correct.

Thank you!

Tbh i only did it to avoid any issues with clearance. This is my first time lowering a car, and I decided to go the easiest route possible to avoid any headaches. At first I didn't like the low profile tires, but they are starting to grow on me, so I might keep it that size for awhile. If so, I will probably keep the speedo as is. It will make me speed less if anything lol

I do like the idea of lowering the offset though to make the wheels more flush, but I will probably work on some other mods first. The idea of rolling fenders slightly terrifies me lol

Rhitter, how to you like the Smash? is it hard to pedal? I'm starting to consider replacing my Mach 5.5 with one. GG seems like an awesome company and they are just a few miles from my house.

On the topic of mountain bikes, here are some new pics of the outback with my new bike racks, and mountain bike. i think i have too many red things......:icon_eek:

Honestly love it. It pedals super well. I got it in July, and have gone on a couple 30 mile 4k elevation gained trips and it handles it really really well. It's just an amazing bike overall. Basically as capable as my old VP free, but in a much more convenient package.

What thickness of spacer are you running ? Because this offset with those STI wheels look amazing.

I picked up a set of Kayak racks last week and put them to use this weekend. Car has been sagging in the rear lately and I don't know why?? Could the extra weight in the bum cause the rear springs to sag over time? I've had them 5+ years, 3 of which were on a Legacy.

took a couple pictures during my lunch break today. I'm loving the lowered look, although the offset of my wheels is starting to bother me. I might start looking into wheel spacers down the road, although there are a couple of other mods that are higher on the list:p
