securityguy
I am a big fan of LED bulbs and already replaced all of the interior bulbs with bright white LEDs and I am also interested in replacing the rear back up bulbs and fog light bulbs. Has anyone done this and been happy with the bulbs you purchased? Notice much of a difference in light output? I am looking for a great source that sells high quality parts with a member recommendation.
drunkinmonk
Diode dynamics. They're a vendor here too. I purchased my interior lighting as a set from them.

securityguy
Rowlette, rob_m - sorry if I upset you with my post but what I am requesting is not in the sticky thread I searched (or if it is I didn't see it). I am looking for bulbs that folks have used with great success in the back-up lights and fogs. Not looking to replace my entire fog, just want to find a great replacement bulb as the fog kit was like $160. In addition, is there anyway to brighten up the "eyebrow" on our headlights with a stronger bulb? If anyone has any additional info they can share it is greatly appreciated. Thank you to drunk and im2cool for your replies!

im2c0ol
Some cheap H11 LED bulbs out there are not in the right optic as the halogen so it throw the output completely off. This is what I ordered for your ref, I had it for a week then swap it out with Morimoto Type T XB Fog. http://www.ebay.com/itm/2X-H8-H9-H11-Low-Beam-LED-Bulbs-Headlight-Super-White-1500LM-High-Power-80W-CREE-/271669747536?hash=item3f40c75f50&vxp=mtr 16' Legacy Mods: 55w HID + XB35 5500k, LEDS upgrades, XB Type T Fog, 20mm SB. gotwww
Perfect...now this is type of answer I was hoping for. Thank you! Anybody install led bulbs in their fogs? SubiSpeed has the best fog replacement BULBS I have seen. The 2015 WRX has the same bulbs as we do. The Gen 2 use passive cooling and are much brighter and whiter than standard bulbs. They are direct replacement, no modifications required, just plug them in. http://www.subispeed.com/2015-subaru-wrx/lighting/fog-lights/olm-hp-gen-2-passive-cooling-led-fog-lights-bulbs-2015-wrx-base-and-premium-2013-fr-s#.VV4D3U9VhBc They also have the 9005 and H11s you need for the headlights. Left is all LED, right is stock bulbs.

Beerguy419
I used Morimoto for headlights. Great service from The Retofit Source and and an excellent warranty. Very pleased with the results. Also used Philips LED's for fogs and back up lights. Check Pepboys out for those. Sometimes there are 40% off coupon codes you can use fit those. I was thinking about getting the housing insert and some fog lights but I might get these LED's and a wiring kit.
