Photos from the largest Subaru Dealership in the Kanto Region

Recommended Posts

Just got back from Japan, saw quite a few 5th Gen Legacies and a whole lot of rare Subarus!

Went to what WAS the largest dealership in the Kanto region (Tachikawa), turns out I missed the newer one in Mitaka...

They had a small store with massive amounts of Subaru gear and car parts.... from 6 pot brakes to Subaru driving gloves.

These cars look amazing. I am now actually somewhat angry that we can't buy some of these cars. There is a really large chance, assuming a nice test drive, that we'd have an Exiga in the driveway right now if it were available. Legacy GT Wagon, Levorg... why does SOA have to be such a carblock?

Pretty awesome experience. I get to Japan about twice a year for work but seldomly have time / venture out for experiences like this except for golf which is a priority for me.

No doubt the JDM market is much desired stateside. Awesome photos and thanks for sharing.

Also saw an original 300SL back at MMJ... this one is probably worth at least 1 Million USD.

My grandfather used to own a dealership in Wisconsin that sold a few of these and similar cars. Thing is, at that time, they were just new sports cars and not the 6 & 7 figure collectors items they are now, so he just sold them at market price. Specific cars that I know made their way through his dealership were the likes of 300SL's, Jaguar E-type's, even a Ferrari 250 Testarossa (specifically chassis 0732TR aka Lucibelle II. It's a bucket list item for me to lay eyes on this specific car, I think it's in Sweden right now haha). I wish he would've kept even one of these old cars to pass on to my dad then to me. :spin:

I knew the 300 SL is worth a lot of money now but I didnt think it was 7 figures, but when I saw it in Kanazawa I started to google... heck that car was in such good condition (well as far as I could tell) it could be worth 1.5M USD.... crazy shit but thats what you can see in auctions.

Was the LeVorg bigger than the Impreza but smaller than the Legacy/Legacy Wagon?

And that 22B!!! :wub::wub:

I would say just around a tad bigger than the 4th Gen Legacy Wagon but smaller than the 5th Gen Wagon.... Levorgs were crazy popular all over Japan, lots of Levorg STI's and that white one I saw had Corazon everything, down to the wheels even.

What got me about that 22b is that it was a customers car.... 5 mins later it was gone and I never saw it again.

That lucky ****.
